Entrance Counseling Session
Students receiving loans through the Federal Stafford Loan program for the first time at Darton College are required to complete the Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling Session. The Mapping Your Future site provides information to students regarding the rights and responsibilities of their student loan and is required before the first payment will be disbursed to the student’s account. To complete the Entrance Counseling Session:
- Login to www.mappingyourfuture.org
- In column on left side of page select complete Online Student Loan Counseling
- Now, in yellow column on left side, select Stafford entrance
- Welcome to Stafford Entrance Counseling, begin in Step One and end with Step Six. Complete the Borrower Information Form and submit. Darton will receive confirmation that you have completed your Entrance Counseling Session.
NOTE: If you have previously completed a Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling Session at Darton College, you do not need to complete another one. If in question, log-on to your MyDC/Bannerweb account under Financial Aid and check your Entrance Counseling requirement to see if it has been satisfied. If not, follow the above directions to complete.
