Faculty Teaching Abroad
February 16, 2000
Faculty members may participate in study abroad programs as part of their teaching duties. Teaching of study abroad courses is based upon expected need, and a recommendation of approval by the Division Chair, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, and the President.
Full-time faculty members are usually given first opportunity for study abroad teaching if they are qualified to teach the subject needed. Faculty choosing to teach study abroad courses do so as a component of their full time duties with no expectation of release time or a stipend.
